Welcome to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia! We are seeking a driven and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Director of Security Operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all who enter our doors.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, families, and staff.
  2. Oversee a team of security personnel and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  3. Collaborate with other departments to assess security risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  4. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technology advancements to continuously enhance security measures.
  6. Manage the budget for security operations and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters and communicate updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency response agencies for coordinated response in case of emergencies.
  9. Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches, and report findings to senior management.
  10. Conduct regular training sessions for staff to promote a culture of safety and security throughout the hospital.
  11. Develop and maintain emergency response plans and regularly conduct drills to ensure preparedness.
  12. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for the security team, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  13. Represent the hospital in security-related meetings and conferences, sharing knowledge and expertise with others in the field.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents, investigations, and training.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of the hospital, acting as a role model for ethical and professional behavior.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Security Operations, With At Least 5 Years In A Leadership Role.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Information Security, Computer Science, Or A Related Discipline.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Security Principles, Best Practices, And Industry Standards, Including Hipaa, Hitech, And Other Healthcare Regulatory Requirements.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Implementing Security Strategies And Policies To Protect Sensitive Data And Assets.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Build Relationships With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
