- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital's security team and ensure all security protocols are being followed.

- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

- Serve as the main point of contact for all security-related issues and emergencies, responding promptly and effectively to any incidents.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies and other external partners to coordinate security efforts and ensure a swift response to any security threats.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the hospital has access to the latest security technology and equipment.
- Prepare and present reports on security operations to senior management and provide recommendations for improvement.
Extensive Experience In Security Operations Management: The Senior Director Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Managing Security Operations, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Security Protocols, Procedures, And Technologies.
Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Security Professionals Effectively. The Senior Director Should Have A Track Record Of Building And Developing High-Performing Teams, As Well As The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Team Members.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulatory Compliance: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, Like All Healthcare Organizations, Must Comply With Strict Regulatory Requirements Such As Hipaa And Hitech. The Senior Director Should Have A Strong Understanding Of These Regulations And How They Apply To Security Operations.
Experience With Risk Management And Incident Response: The Senior Director Should Have Experience In Identifying And Assessing Security Risks, As Well As Developing And Implementing Incident Response Plans. They Should Also Be Able To Lead And Coordinate Response Efforts In The Event Of A Security Breach Or Incident.
