
Senior Communications Associate
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Communications Associate to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This is a critical role, and you’ll be responsible for developing and executing compelling strategies to enhance CHOP’s external communications efforts. You should have a proven track record of developing successful communications plans that are creative and effective, with a focus on digital media and traditional media relations. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare sector and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute communication strategies to enhance CHOP’s external communications efforts.
- Create and implement creative and effective communications plans with a focus on digital media and traditional media relations.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the healthcare sector.
- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and monitor communications activities and media relations.
- Represent CHOP at external events and media opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the media, physicians, and families.
- Monitor industry news and trends and assess the potential impact on CHOP’s external communications.
- Track metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of communications efforts.
- Oversee the development of content, including press releases, website copy, and other marketing materials.
