Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of revenue cycle processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy in billing and reimbursement for homecare services.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate submission of claims and follow-up on denials or other issues.
- Manage and maintain reports and data related to homecare revenue cycle performance, including analyzing trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and insurance policies related to homecare billing and reimbursement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to streamline revenue cycle processes and ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle processes and provide training and support to staff and other stakeholders as needed.
- Conduct audits and reviews of homecare billing and reimbursement processes to identify and address any discrepancies or errors.
- Work closely with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely coding and billing of claims.
- Maintain a high level of customer service when interacting with patients, families, and external partners to address any billing or reimbursement inquiries or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to revenue cycle management and provide recommendations for process improvements to adapt to these changes.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Finance, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In A Homecare Setting
Knowledge Of Healthcare Billing And Reimbursement Processes, Including Medicare, Medicaid, And Commercial Insurance
Experience With Electronic Health Record Systems, Preferably Epic
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Make Recommendations For Process Improvement
