Job Description

The Resource Coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is an integral part of our resource management team, and we are looking for someone who can bring enthusiasm and dedication to the role. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, the ability to think on their feet, and a passion for working with staff and families in a healthcare setting. The successful applicant will have the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least two years of experience in a similar role, and the ability to work collaboratively with medical and administrative staff. Responsibilities of the Resource Coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP):

• Manage the daily operations of the resource management team.

• Maintain accurate records of resources and staff allocations.

• Develop and implement efficient procedures to ensure the timely delivery of resources.

• Communicate frequently and effectively with staff and families to ensure their needs are met.

• Provide support and guidance to staff, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Analyze data and develop strategies to improve resource allocation.

• Attend meetings and briefings to stay abreast of developments in the hospital.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and families.
