  1. Conduct statistical analyses on large datasets related to pediatric cancer research.
  2. Develop and implement novel statistical methods to analyze complex data.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and healthcare professionals to identify research questions and design studies.
  4. Interpret and communicate statistical findings to team members and other stakeholders.
  5. Contribute to the development and refinement of research protocols.
  6. Ensure data quality and accuracy through regular checks and validation procedures.
  7. Stay current with advancements in statistical methods and apply new techniques to research projects.
  8. Write and publish research findings in scientific journals and present at conferences.
  9. Work closely with data managers and other team members to ensure data integrity and efficient data collection.
  10. Contribute to grant proposals and assist with securing funding for research projects.
  11. Provide statistical support and guidance to junior researchers and team members.
  12. Maintain ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements in the collection and analysis of data.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and organizations to leverage resources and enhance research opportunities.
  14. Act as a representative of the hospital and the research team at conferences and meetings.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve statistical processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Statistics, Biostatistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Extensive Experience With Statistical Analysis And Modeling, Preferably In A Clinical Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Epidemiological Research Methods And Study Design, Particularly In The Context Of Pediatric Cancer.

  • Familiarity With Large Datasets And Proficiency In Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Stata.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams Of Researchers And Clinicians.
