We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team in the Department of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Biology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside world-renowned researchers and clinicians to advance our understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases in children. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in basic and translational research, as well as a passion for improving the health outcomes of pediatric patients.   1. Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of cardiovascular and metabolic biology, with a focus on pediatric patients.
  2. Collaborate with a team of world-renowned researchers and clinicians to develop and implement research projects and studies.
  3. Design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data, and interpret results to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
  4. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current literature and research findings related to pediatric cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
  5. Present research findings at conferences and contribute to the publication of scientific papers and articles.
  6. Utilize various research techniques and methodologies, including but not limited to cell culture, animal models, and molecular biology techniques.
  7. Participate in laboratory meetings, journal clubs, and other scientific discussions to share ideas and promote collaboration.
  8. Mentor and train junior researchers, including graduate and undergraduate students, in laboratory techniques and research methods.
  9. Ensure compliance with all ethical, safety, and regulatory guidelines in the conduct of research.
  10. Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and incorporate new techniques and technologies into research projects.
  11. Demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the health outcomes of pediatric patients through research and collaboration.
  12. Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, results, and data analysis.
  13. Assist with grant applications and contribute to the development of research proposals.
  14. Communicate effectively with colleagues, superiors, and external stakeholders to promote the research and goals of the department and organization.
  15. Represent the organization at professional conferences, meetings, and events related to pediatric cardiovascular and metabolic research.

Job Qualifications
  • A Phd In A Relevant Field Such As Cardiovascular Biology, Metabolic Biology, Or Molecular Biology.

  • Strong Research Experience In The Areas Of Cardiovascular And Metabolic Biology, Demonstrated Through Publications In Reputable Journals And Presentations At Scientific Conferences.

  • Knowledge Of State-Of-The-Art Techniques And Methodologies In Cardiovascular And Metabolic Research, Including Cell Culture, Animal Models, And Molecular And Cellular Biology Techniques.

  • Prior Experience With Grant Writing And Securing Funding For Research Projects.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, As Evidenced By Previous Experience Working In A Multidisciplinary Research Team.
