  1. Conduct independent research in the field of orthopedic surgery, focusing on pediatric patients.
  2. Develop and implement research plans and protocols for assigned projects.
  3. Collect and analyze data using appropriate research methods and techniques.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to investigate and solve complex research problems.
  5. Prepare and present research findings in various formats, including written reports and presentations.
  6. Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of orthopedic surgery and incorporate new knowledge into research projects.
  7. Assist with grant writing and securing funding for research projects.
  8. Mentor and train junior researchers and students in research methods and techniques.
  9. Ensure compliance with ethical and safety protocols in all research activities.
  10. Participate in academic and professional conferences, workshops, and seminars to share research findings and gain new insights.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including other research institutions and industry professionals.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of research strategies and goals within the Department of Orthopedic Surgery.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks related to research, such as budget management and project tracking.
  14. Represent CHOP in a professional and positive manner in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Uphold the mission and values of CHOP, and actively contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  • A Phd Degree In Orthopedic Surgery Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
