  1. Oversee and manage all administrative functions related to research projects, including budget development and management, compliance with regulations and policies, and coordination of project timelines.
  2. Serve as a liaison between researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff to ensure effective communication and collaboration on research initiatives.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external funding agencies, ensuring timely submission of proposals and compliance with funding requirements.
  4. Manage and maintain accurate records of research project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines and identifying any discrepancies.
  5. Conduct regular audits of research projects to ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
  6. Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and other events related to research projects, including arranging travel and accommodations for attendees.
  7. Facilitate human subject research protocols and maintain knowledge of current regulations and ethical standards in research.
  8. Train and supervise administrative staff and provide guidance and support to research teams as needed.
  9. Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of research administrative processes, making recommendations for improvements and implementing changes as needed.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in research administration, and provide guidance to research teams on implementing new strategies and technologies.
  11. Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to manage research project budgets and ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information related to research projects.
  13. Support the overall mission and goals of the organization by promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  14. Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor or leadership team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Organizational And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects And Deadlines Simultaneously.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Research Administration Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Academic Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal Regulations And Guidelines Related To Research Funding, Such As Nih, Cdc, And Fda Regulations.

  • Experience With Sponsored Research Accounting And Budgeting, Including Grant Proposal Preparation And Post-Award Management.
