Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatology Follow Up team located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a Neonatology Follow Up RN, you will provide primary care to infants and families by providing comprehensive assessments, developing a plan of care, and providing patient and family education. You will be the primary point of contact for families, and will ensure continuity of care between the inpatient and outpatient settings. This is an amazing opportunity for an RN with excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. You must have an active RN license and at least two years of experience in a neonatal setting, including caring for high-risk newborns. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide primary care to infants and families by conducting comprehensive assessments and developing a plan of care.
  2. Provide patient and family education.
  3. Serve as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
  4. Exercise excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Maintain an active RN license and have at least two years of experience in a neonatal setting, including caring for high-risk newborns.
  6. Utilize technology, including electronic medical records.
  7. Demonstrate collaborative, respectful, and diverse behavior.
