Job Description

At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and dedicated professional with a deep commitment to providing the best care for our young patients and their families. We are looking for an RN who has experience in the neonatal field, is comfortable working with high-risk patients, and is committed to excellence in patient care.The successful candidate will possess a valid RN license as well as a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) or higher. In addition, we are seeking an individual with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or equivalent. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, be able to provide education and support to families, and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about neonatal care and is committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality care for neonatal patients and their families.
  2. Demonstrate an advanced understanding of neonatal care and treatment.
  3. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  4. Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and progress.
  5. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  6. Educate and support patients’ families.
  7. Utilize critical thinking skills to make informed decisions about patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate patient records.
  9. Observe all hospital policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in in-service trainings and continuing education programs.
