
Registered Nurse (RN) - General Endocrine & Diabetes
We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and provide exceptional care to our endocrine & diabetes patients. You will be responsible for creating individualized plans of care, providing direct nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.The ideal candidate should have an RN license from the State of Pennsylvania, at least 2 years of pediatric medical-surgical nursing experience, and a strong knowledge of endocrine & diabetes care. It is essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working with patients and their families.Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients and their families, and we look forward to welcoming you to our team. Responsibilities:
- Create individualized plans of care for pediatric patients with endocrine and diabetes issues.
- Provide direct nursing care to these patients.
- Administer medications as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Maintain the highest quality of care for patients and their families.
- Maintain a valid RN license from the State of Pennsylvania.
- Remain up-to-date on endocrine & diabetes care.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Current Rn License In The State Of Pennsylvania
At Least Years Of Professional Nursing Experience
Endocrinology Or Diabetes-Related Experience
Knowledge Of Endocrinology And Diabetes Care Principles
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Health Care Professionals
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records
