As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral interventions and support to children with developmental disabilities.   1. Implement Behavioral Interventions: The Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing behavioral interventions and treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities.
  2. Provide Support: The Technician will provide support to patients and their families by assisting with behavior management techniques and helping them develop skills to improve their daily lives.
  3. Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: This role requires collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, including therapists, doctors, and caregivers, to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  4. Conduct Assessments: The Technician will conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop appropriate treatment plans for each patient.
  5. Maintain Accurate Records: It is the responsibility of the Technician to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, interventions, and treatment plans.
  6. Communicate Effectively: The Technician must have exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  7. Follow Ethical Standards: The Technician must adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in all aspects of their work, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
  8. Stay Current on Best Practices: The Technician must stay updated on the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis to provide the highest quality care for patients.
  9. Attend Trainings and Workshops: The Technician may be required to attend trainings and workshops to further develop their skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
  10. Uphold Hospital Values: The Technician is expected to uphold the values of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, including compassion, integrity, and excellence, in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification As A Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) Through The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).

  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Education, Or Related Field.

  • Experience Working With Children With Developmental Disabilities And/Or Behavioral Challenges.

  • Knowledge Of Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba) Principles And Techniques.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
