
Registered Behavior Technician

- Implement Behavioral Interventions: The Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing behavioral interventions and treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities.
- Provide Support: The Technician will provide support to patients and their families by assisting with behavior management techniques and helping them develop skills to improve their daily lives.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: This role requires collaboration with other members of the healthcare team, including therapists, doctors, and caregivers, to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Conduct Assessments: The Technician will conduct assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop appropriate treatment plans for each patient.
- Maintain Accurate Records: It is the responsibility of the Technician to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress, interventions, and treatment plans.
- Communicate Effectively: The Technician must have exceptional communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Follow Ethical Standards: The Technician must adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines in all aspects of their work, including maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Stay Current on Best Practices: The Technician must stay updated on the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis to provide the highest quality care for patients.
- Attend Trainings and Workshops: The Technician may be required to attend trainings and workshops to further develop their skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
- Uphold Hospital Values: The Technician is expected to uphold the values of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, including compassion, integrity, and excellence, in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
Certification As A Registered Behavior Technician (Rbt) Through The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).
Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Education, Or Related Field.
Experience Working With Children With Developmental Disabilities And/Or Behavioral Challenges.
Knowledge Of Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba) Principles And Techniques.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
