
Psychometrist - Neuropsychology
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Psychometrist - Neuropsychology to join our team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). As our Psychometrist, you will be responsible for administering and scoring psychological tests, as well as providing feedback to the Neuropsychologist. You will use your knowledge of the principles of psychology, psychometrics, and diagnostic instruments to assess and interpret cognitive and behavioral functions in pediatric patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychometric assessment and a commitment to providing excellent care to our patients and their families.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field• At least one year of experience in the field of psychometrics• Knowledge of a wide range of psychological tests and assessment techniques• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentIf you are an experienced and driven professional looking to make a difference in the lives of children and their families at CHOP, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities of a Psychometrist - Neuropsychology:
• Administer and score psychological tests for pediatric patients
• Provide feedback to the Neuropsychologist • Interpret results from cognitive and behavioral tests • Familiarize oneself with a wide range of psychological tests and assessment techniques • Maintain confidentiality of patient information • Document results of tests and assessments • Assist in the development of new assessment techniques • Communicate results of assessments with other members of the healthcare team • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers • Participate in research initiatives related to psychometrics and neuropsychology
