
Psychometrist - Autism
At the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Psychometrist - Autism to join our innovative team. As a Psychometrist, you will play an integral role in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of our patients. The ideal candidate should have an aptitude for working with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as with their families.The successful Psychometrist - Autism will have a Master's Degree in clinical psychology, school psychology, or in a closely related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in evaluating and diagnosing autism. Candidates should have experience with the administration, scoring, and interpretation of a variety of psychometric instruments, including cognitive, adaptive, and personality tests. We are seeking an individual who has knowledge of evidence-based principles, practices, assessments, and treatments.We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and a strong commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach. We are looking for a Psychometrist who is an excellent listener, is organized and detail-oriented, and is passionate about helping children and families impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychometric instruments, including cognitive, adaptive, and personality tests.
- Participate in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of patients with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Develop and implement evidence-based principles, practices, assessments, and treatments.
- Build trusting relationships and communicate effectively with both children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
- Remain up-to-date on new research and treatments related to Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of patients' data, assessments, and treatments.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality care.
- Provide accurate feedback to patients and families.
Excellent Communication Skills
