As a Psychometrist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and measuring cognitive and psychological functioning to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.   1. Conduct comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments on pediatric patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  2. Administer and score standardized psychological tests and measures accurately and efficiently.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and recommendations based on assessment results.
  4. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessment results and patient progress.
  5. Utilize knowledge of child development and psychological theories to provide insight and interpretation of assessment results.
  6. Communicate assessment findings and treatment recommendations to patients, families, and healthcare team members in a clear and compassionate manner.
  7. Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and their families to foster a supportive and trusting environment.
  8. Stay current with advancements in the field of pediatric psychology and incorporate new techniques and tools into practice.
  9. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and consultations to provide valuable input and support for patient care.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  13. Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Education, Or A Related Field: A Psychometrist At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Should Have At Least A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Of Study. This Will Ensure A Strong Foundation In Psychological Concepts And Theories.
