
Psychologist - Outpatient Eating Disorders
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Psychologist to join the Outpatient Eating Disorders team at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral health assessment and treatment to children and adolescents with eating disorders and their families. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population.The successful candidate for this position must be a licensed clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania or be license eligible in Pennsylvania, and have a Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited university. Preferred qualifications include experience working with children and adolescents with eating disorders, prior hospital-based experience, and prior training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).The Psychologist must demonstrate an understanding of cultural and personal diversity, and possess an optimistic attitude and a commitment to helping children and their families reach their optimal functioning. This position requires a strong sense of professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaboration with team members.
