Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is looking for an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are looking for a compassionate and motivated individual who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to our young patients. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in nursing and have experience working with pediatric mental health patients. The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, individualized care to our patients and families. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive mental health care to pediatric patients and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health issues.
  2. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for each patient.
  3. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  4. Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation.
  6. Keep abreast of developments in the field of pediatric mental health.
  7. Engage in community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specialization

  • Current And Unrestricted License To Practice As A Registered Nurse In The State Of Pennsylvania

  • Certification From The American Nurses Credentialing Center As A Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working With Pediatric Patients In A Psychiatric Setting

  • Demonstrated Ability To Provide Diagnostic Evaluations And Create Treatment Plans

  • Knowledge Of Relevant State And Federal
