Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is looking for an experienced and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our team. Our ideal candidate should have a deep commitment to providing exceptional care to children and families and an enthusiasm for working in an environment focused on the highest standards of medical excellence.The Primary Care Nurse will be responsible for delivering primary care to pediatric patients, including performing physical assessments, administering medications, providing education to patients and families, and collaborating with other health care providers. This position requires a passion for working with children and families in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Qualifications for this position include: a current RN license, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and at least two years of experience in pediatric primary care settings. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Delivering primary care to pediatric patients, including performing physical assessments, administering medications, and providing education to patients and families.
  2. Collaborating with other health care providers to ensure quality patient care.
  3. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  4. Providing emotional support to patients and families.
  5. Utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and families.
  6. Staying up to date on relevant medical developments and trends.
  7. Ensuring compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  8. Adhering to the highest standards of medical excellence.
