
Polysomnography Technologist
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is looking for an experienced Polysomnography Technologist to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for providing excellent care and support for our pediatric sleep disorder patients. As a Polysomnography Technologist, you will use advanced technologies to monitor and diagnose sleep-related disorders. We’re seeking an individual with the necessary qualifications, including an associate's degree in polysomnography or a related field, certification as a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT), and experience in a pediatric setting. A successful candidate must be highly organized, have strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Above all, the ideal candidate will have a passion for providing outstanding care to our patients with sleep disorders. Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent care and support for pediatric sleep disorder patients
- Utilize advanced technologies to monitor and diagnose sleep-related disorders
- Ensure accuracy of patient data and results
- Maintain patient records and prepare reports
- Educate patients and families on sleep-related issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Ensure patient comfort and proper positioning for testing procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain close communication with referring physicians
- Perform other duties as assigned
