- Develop and implement policy and communication strategies that align with CHOP's mission and goals.
- Conduct research and analysis on relevant policy issues and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the policy and communications teams to create compelling messaging and content that promotes CHOP's mission and initiatives.
- Manage projects and initiatives related to policy and communications, ensuring timely and effective completion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and media outlets.
- Monitor and track policy developments, legislative actions, and media coverage related to CHOP's areas of focus.
- Assist in the planning and execution of advocacy events and initiatives, including drafting materials, coordinating logistics, and managing volunteers.
- Serve as a spokesperson for CHOP on policy and communications matters, representing the organization in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistency and alignment with CHOP's brand and messaging.
- Keep up-to-date on best practices and trends in policy and communications, and make recommendations for improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Participate in the development and management of the policy and communications budget.
- Act as a liaison between CHOP and external organizations, advocating for CHOP's interests and promoting partnerships and collaborations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on policy and communications efforts, as requested by management.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to policy and communications work, including confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Policy Development And Communication, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Non-Profit Setting.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Convey Complex Information To Diverse Audiences.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Policies And Regulations, And Experience Working With Government Agencies And Stakeholders.
Proven Experience Managing Multiple Projects And Deadlines, With Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Prioritize Tasks Effectively.
