
Physician Assistant - CT Surgery

- Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients undergoing CT surgery procedures.
- Collaborate with world-renowned surgeons to assist in all aspects of CT surgery, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Utilize strong background in CT surgery to assess and manage complex cases.
- Monitor patients' post-operative progress and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of protocols and procedures.
- Stay current with developments in the field of pediatric CT surgery and incorporate new techniques and treatments into practice.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and compassion when interacting with patients and their families.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Act as an advocate for children and their families, promoting their best interests and ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Continuously strive to improve patient care and contribute to the overall success of the CT Surgery team and the hospital.
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies: Applicants Must Possess A Master's Degree From An Accredited Physician Assistant Program, With A Specialization In Ct Surgery.
Pa-C Certification: Candidates Must Be Certified By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa) As A Physician Assistant-Certified (Pa-C).
Previous Experience In Ct Surgery: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Prior Experience Working In A Ct Surgery Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Strong Surgical Skills: The Job Requires A High Level Of Proficiency In Surgical Techniques And Procedures Specific To Ct Surgery, Including But Not Limited To Open Heart Surgery, Minimally Invasive Procedures, And Post-Operative Care.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills: As A Member Of A Multidisciplinary Team At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, The Physician Assistant Must Possess Exceptional Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Healthcare Professionals To Provide The Best Care For Their Young Patients.
