
Physician Assistant - Clinical Immersion Program
We are looking for a highly motivated Physician Assistant to join our Clinical Immersion Program at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to gain invaluable experience working alongside our world-class medical staff, while delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. They should also possess a commitment to providing the best possible care to our patients and their families.We are seeking an individual with a minimum of two years of clinical experience who is a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and is eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical care to patients and their families in accordance with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s standards.
- Maintain excellent communication with all members of the medical team, ensuring that all team members are kept abreast of medical updates/changes.
- Ensure that all medical information is documented accurately and in accordance with standards.
- Utilize a collaborative and team-oriented approach to patient care.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when delivering medical care.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary changes to treatment plans as needed.
- Identify any potential risks and take appropriate measures to ensure patient safety.
- Stay up-to-date with medical developments and best practices.
- Follow all applicable state and federal laws and regulations related to medical care.
- Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
Excellent Communication Skills
Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies
National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa) Certification
Current And Valid Pennsylvania Physician Assistant License
Previous Pediatric Experience
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Medical Terminology
Proficiency In Emr/Ehr Systems
