- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to established protocols and procedures.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies, and assist with ordering and restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and appropriate medication use for pediatric patients.
- Enter and maintain patient information and medication records in electronic systems.
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding medication administration and dosing instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any medication-related issues or discrepancies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
- Adhere to all regulatory and legal requirements related to pharmacy operations.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: Candidates For The Pharmacy Technician Generalist Position At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification: Applicants Should Possess A Cpht Certification From An Accredited Institution, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Understanding Of Pharmacy Operations, Medication Management, And Patient Safety.
