Job Description

At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for a talented and dedicated Perfusionist to join our team! We are committed to providing high quality care to our patients and their families, and we know that this position is crucial to that. In this role, you will assist with the delivery of cardiovascular care and support our clinical team.We are looking for a Perfusionist with the following qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Perfusion Technology, certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion, and at least two years of experience in the field. Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the delivery of cardiovascular care in accordance with hospital standards.
  2. Monitor patient safety and provide patient-centered care.
  3. Collaborate with clinical team members to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  4. Maintain current certification from the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion.
  5. Work closely with medical staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  6. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care.
  8. Utilize effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  10. Respond to emergency situations and provide critical care as needed.
