Job Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks an experienced and motivated PEDSnet Data Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the data management activities of PEDSnet, a national pediatric data network dedicated to improving the health of children. We are looking for someone with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help us achieve our goals. The ideal candidate also must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively.The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and a minimum of two years of experience in data management or related field. Knowledge of data management and analytics processes is also essential for this role. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving children's health, and is excited to contribute to the mission of CHOP and PEDSnet. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate data management activities for PEDSnet
  2. Develop, implement, and monitor data management and analytics processes
  3. Monitor the accuracy and integrity of data
  4. Analyze data to identify potential issues and suggest corrective action
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure data is properly collected, stored, and used
  7. Develop and maintain documentation related to data management processes
  8. Provide support and guidance to others on data management issues
  9. Assist in developing and improving data management policies and procedures
  10. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve data quality and performance
