  1. Coordinate and manage multiple pediatric research studies, including recruiting and enrolling participants, collecting and organizing data, and communicating with study sponsors and collaborators.
  2. Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety by adhering to all protocols and regulations in the conduct of research studies.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and research coordinators, to develop and implement study protocols and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study participants, including medical histories, lab results, and treatment plans.
  5. Educate and inform study participants and their families about the research study and their rights as participants.
  6. Conduct study-related procedures, such as administering medications, collecting samples, and monitoring vital signs.
  7. Monitor and report any adverse events or changes in a participant's condition to the study team and appropriate regulatory agencies.
  8. Assist with data analysis and interpretation, and contribute to the dissemination of study findings through presentations and publications.
  9. Stay current with relevant research and regulatory guidelines, and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  10. Serve as a liaison between study participants and the research team, addressing any concerns or questions and providing support as needed.
  11. Collaborate with study sponsors and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of research processes.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of all study-related information and adhere to ethical principles in the conduct of research.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the research team and the organization as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Role, With A Preference For Candidates Who Have Completed Additional Training Or Coursework In Pediatric Nursing Or Research.

  • Registered Nurse (Rn) License: Candidates Must Hold An Active Rn License In The State Of Pennsylvania (Or Be Eligible For Licensure) To Be Considered For This Position.

  • Pediatric Nursing Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pediatric Nurse Is Preferred For This Role. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Patient Care And Be Comfortable Working With Children Of All Ages.

  • Clinical Research Experience: Previous Experience Working In A Clinical Research Setting Is Highly Desired For This Position. Candidates Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Research Methodologies And Be Familiar With Regulatory Requirements Related To Pediatric Clinical Trials.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills: The Role Of A Pediatric Research Nurse Coordinator Requires Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills. Candidates Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Various Stakeholders, Including Patients, Families, Physicians, And Research Staff. Additionally, Strong Attention To Detail And The Ability To Manage Multiple Tasks And Priorities Are Essential For Success In This Role.
