
Pediatric Psychologist
At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pediatric Psychologist to join our team and make a positive impact on the children and families we serve. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong background in pediatric psychology and an eagerness to provide the best care possible. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals and utilize evidence-based therapies to address the mental health needs of our pediatric patients.The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology with a specialization in pediatric psychology. They should also have experience in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders in children and families. Practical experience with evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing compassionate and ethical care. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement plans for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological disorders in children and families • Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals • Provide compassionate and ethical care • Maintain accurate records of patient care • Monitor patient progress and ensure quality of care • Remain up-to-date on the latest advances in child psychology • Participate in professional development activities • Foster positive relationships with patients and families
