Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Pediatric Neuropsychologist - Oncology to join our team. You will be responsible for providing evidence-based and family-centered neuropsychological assessments and interventions to children and adolescents with oncologic diagnoses and their families. The ideal candidate should be an organized, compassionate individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.To be successful in this role, you should have a Doctorate degree in Psychology from an accredited university, board certification and licensure in Neuropsychology, and extensive knowledge of oncology. You should also have a minimum of three years of experience as a Pediatric Neuropsychologist and must be trained in the diagnosis and treatment of developmental, cognitive, and emotional disorders. The ability to collaborate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals is key. Most importantly, you must have a passion and dedication to helping children and their families.

Responsibilities: • Provide evidence-based and family-centered neuropsychological assessments and interventions to children and adolescents with oncologic diagnoses and their families • Maintain board certification and licensure in Neuropsychology • Diagnose and treat developmental, cognitive, and emotional disorders • Collaborate and coordinate with other healthcare professionals • Develop and maintain relationships with patients and their families • Remain up-to-date on the latest developments and research related to pediatric oncology • Utilize best practices when working with patients and their families • Document patient information accurately and efficiently • Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs
