
Pediatric Echo Sonographer
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Sonographer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to provide quality patient care and help advance the department's mission. As a Pediatric Echo Sonographer, you will be responsible for producing images of the heart and other related structures of pediatric patients using ultrasound equipment.The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of three years of experience in pediatric echo sonography, as well as American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in adult echo sonography and/or pediatric echo sonography. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other health care providers. Responsibilities:
- Produce images of the heart and other related structures of pediatric patients using ultrasound equipment.
- Maintain American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in adult echo sonography and/or pediatric echo sonography.
- Communicate effectively with other health care providers.
- Provide patient-centered care in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Follow department’s mission and help advance it.
- Maintain a safe and sterile working environment.
- Follow all relevant safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction with care.
- Provide accurate and detailed records for all patient interactions.
