  1. Greet and welcome patients and families in a friendly and professional manner.
  2. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  3. Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars.
  4. Verify insurance information and obtain necessary authorizations.
  5. Collect and process patient payments.
  6. Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
  7. Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
  8. Assist with patient registration and check-in process.
  9. Address and resolve patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and empathetic manner.
  10. Educate patients and families on hospital policies and procedures.
  11. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care for patients.
  12. Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
  13. Stay updated on hospital services, programs, and procedures to provide accurate information to patients and families.
  14. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  15. Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve patient service skills.
  16. Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed.
  17. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  18. Act as a positive ambassador for the hospital and its mission in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
