  1. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and caregivers at all times.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for patients and families, answering inquiries and addressing concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  3. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details, accurately and efficiently.
  4. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate and updated appointment calendars for multiple providers.
  5. Utilize electronic medical records to input and retrieve patient information.
  6. Communicate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow.
  7. Handle patient complaints and escalate issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
  9. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and services.
  10. Educate patients and families on hospital policies, procedures, and resources available to them.
  11. Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date on hospital procedures and protocols.
  12. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  14. Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols.
  15. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff.
  16. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
  17. Continuously strive to improve customer service and patient satisfaction.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
