
Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, you will provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents with mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients in an outpatient setting and be passionate about providing the highest quality of care to young patients. Qualifications:• Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited Nursing Program• National certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse• Hold an active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania• Knowledge of pediatric nursing principles and practices• Experience in providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents • Knowledge of diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders• Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic abilities • Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders in children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide psychotherapy to patients.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Educate patients and families about mental health disorders and available treatments.
- Maintain patient records and document all aspects of care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of pediatric mental health.
- Comply with all organizational policies and procedures.
Experience Working With Pediatric Patients
Current Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner In The State Of Pennsylvania
