In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages. You will also work with our Ophthalmology staff to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care.The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of one year of ophthalmology technician experience, a thorough understanding of ophthalmic principles, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients of all ages.
  2. Work with ophthalmology staff to ensure that all patients receive the highest quality of care.
  3. Manage patient care according to hospital protocols and procedures.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  5. Educate patients and families about ophthalmic conditions and treatments.
  6. Assist in ophthalmology surgery and other treatments as required.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  8. Monitor and order ophthalmology equipment and supplies.
  9. Perform administrative duties as required.
  10. Participate in continuing education and training programs to keep up to date on the latest ophthalmic principles and practices.
