Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Administrator to join our team! The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for helping others and be able to juggle multiple tasks with ease. As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing office operations and providing administrative support to the department. To be successful, you will need to have excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Detail-oriented and highly organized• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines• Positive attitude and professional demeanor• Knowledge of medical and office terminology

Responsibilities of Office Administrator at CHOP:

• Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support to the department • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes • Prepare and submit reports to management • Assist with scheduling appointments, answering phones, and responding to emails • Maintain accurate records and filing systems • Research and execute special projects as assigned • Ensure office equipment is in working order and arrange for repairs and maintenance as needed • Monitor office supplies and order as needed • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members • Serve as a point of contact for external vendors and clients • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
