
Nurse Practitioner - Surgical Neonatal Intensive

- Provide specialized care to newborns and infants undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor patient's progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their care and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on patient care.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training.

Certification As A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner: Candidates Must Hold A Certification As A Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Nnp) To Be Considered For This Role. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Completed Additional Training And Met The Rigorous Standards Set By The National Certification Corporation (Ncc) For Advanced Practice In Neonatal Care.
