  1. Provide high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric patients with hematology and oncology diagnoses in an outpatient setting.
  2. Utilize advanced nursing knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with complex hematology and oncology needs.
  3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  4. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and symptom management.
  5. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and potential side effects.
  7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  8. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during their treatment journey.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards.
  11. Continuously participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with advances in pediatric hematology and oncology care.
  12. Serve as a resource and mentor for other healthcare professionals on the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Hematology/Oncology.

  • Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner By The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners (Aanp).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In An Outpatient Setting, Preferably In Hematology/Oncology.

  • Strong Clinical Knowledge And Expertise In The Management Of Pediatric Hematology And Oncology Conditions, Including Chemotherapy Administration And Symptom Management.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team, Patients, And Their Families.
