  1. Provide expert and compassionate care to pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  3. Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories.
  4. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
  5. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
  6. Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention, and treatment.
  7. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  10. Stay current with advances in cardiology and pediatric healthcare.
  11. Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
  12. Provide support and guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Foster a positive and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  15. Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
  16. Act as an advocate for patients and their families.
  17. Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or department leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Nurse Practitioner.

  • Active And Unrestricted State Licensure As A Nurse Practitioner.

  • Certification As A Nurse Practitioner From A Nationally Recognized Organization (E.g. Ancc, Aanp).

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In Outpatient Cardiology, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Excellent Clinical Assessment And Diagnostic Skills, With A Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Cardiology Conditions And Treatments.
