Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Education: A Nurse Practitioner At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Must Possess A Master's Degree Or Higher In Nursing, With A Specialization In Orthopedic Surgery. This Advanced Education Equips The Nurse Practitioner With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide Specialized Care To Pediatric Orthopedic Patients.

  • Licensure And Certification: The Candidate Must Hold A Valid State License As A Nurse Practitioner And Be Nationally Certified In The Specialty Of Orthopedic Surgery. This Ensures That The Nurse Practitioner Has Met The Necessary Standards And Has The Required Knowledge And Competencies To Provide Quality Care To Patients.

  • Experience In Orthopedic Surgery: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Orthopedic Surgery, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting. This Experience Will Allow The Nurse Practitioner To Effectively Assess And Manage A Variety Of Orthopedic Conditions And Procedures In Children.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Is Committed To Providing Family-Centered Care, And The Nurse Practitioner Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
