- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Vascular Access & Interventional Radiology department at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of care to pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the quality of care and patient outcomes within the department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless coordination of care for patients.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in the hiring, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Serve as a role model for professional nursing practice, demonstrating clinical expertise and knowledge in Vascular Access & Interventional Radiology.

- Stay updated on current practices and trends in pediatric nursing and implement evidence-based practices within the department.
- Collaborate with other Nurse Managers and hospital leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to ensure the highest quality of care for pediatric patients.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing: A Nurse Manager In Vascular Access & Interventional Radiology At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Should Have A Strong Educational Background In Nursing, With A Bachelor's Or Master's Degree Being Preferred.
Relevant Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Vascular Access And Interventional Radiology, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care As Well As Leadership Or Management Roles.
Knowledge Of Regulatory And Accreditation Standards: As A Nurse Manager, It Is Important To Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of All Relevant Regulatory And Accreditation Standards, Such As The Joint Commission And Cms Guidelines. This Ensures That The Department Is In Compliance With All Necessary Regulations.
