We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Manager for our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of dedicated nurses and support staff in providing exceptional care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the NICU, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management.
  2. Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of nurses and support staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Ensure high quality and evidence-based care is delivered to patients, in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve patient outcomes and overall unit performance.
  5. Review and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement action plans accordingly.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the NICU staff and other departments within the hospital, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accreditation for the NICU.
  8. Participate in performance evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary actions for staff members.
  9. Facilitate ongoing education and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  10. Act as a role model for professional behavior and uphold ethical standards in all interactions with patients, families, and staff.
  11. Collaborate with other nurse managers and hospital leaders to promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  12. Foster a patient and family-centered care approach and promote family involvement in care planning.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Pennsylvania

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Neonatal Nursing, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role

  • Knowledge Of Nicu Policies, Procedures, And Best Practices
