
Nurse Manager
The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking an experienced and passionate Nurse Manager to join our team. We are looking for an individual who will be an integral part of our patient-focused culture, dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our pediatric patients and their families.The Nurse Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to the nursing staff and overseeing the delivery of patient care. They will be responsible for developing and implementing patient care standards, managing staff resources and leading a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a nursing staff in a pediatric hospital setting and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License• 5+ years of nursing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role• Working knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards• Ability to provide direction and collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, administrators, and members of the community• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Passion for providing high quality, patient-centered careIf you are a motivated and experienced nurse leader with a passion for pediatric care, we invite you to join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of our patients and families.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement patient care standards • Manage staff resources efficiently and effectively • Provide leadership to the nursing staff • Lead a team of healthcare professionals • Monitor the delivery of patient care and ensure quality standards are met • Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, administrators, and members of the community • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance • Resolve conflicts and address patient complaints • Respond to inquiries related to the nursing staff and patient care • Act as a liaison between the nursing staff and other departments of the hospital • Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and standards • Create and maintain a supportive work environment for the nursing staff • Develop and implement improvement initiatives to enhance patient care services
