
Neurodiagnostic Technologist
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is an integral part of the medical team, responsible for providing the highest quality of neurophysiological recordings and testing. We are seeking a highly experienced, compassionate, and motivated individual with the requisite qualifications and expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be a reliable and dedicated professional with a commitment to providing exemplary care to our young patients. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in a medical field, Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist (R.N.D.T) certification, 5+ years of relevant clinical experience in a pediatric environment, and American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) certification. In addition, the candidate should possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and record neurophysiological data from pediatric patients.
- Provide high quality neurophysiological testing.
- Maintain ABRET certification and Registered Neurodiagnostic Technician (R.N.D.T) certification.
- Work collaboratively with other medical staff to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure all equipment used in testing is properly calibrated and functioning at optimal levels.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Accurately document results of tests and procedures.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Provide support and guidance to junior technologists.
