As an MRI Technologist, you will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients, using state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality images.   1. Perform MRI scans on pediatric patients with the utmost care and attention to detail.
  2. Operate and maintain MRI equipment in accordance with safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  3. Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns or questions.
  4. Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
  5. Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for MRI procedures.
  6. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of MRI images.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all MRI scans and procedures.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
  9. Continuously update knowledge and skills in MRI technology through continuing education and training opportunities.
  10. Provide emotional support and reassurance to pediatric patients and their families during MRI procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to gather necessary information and address any concerns.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  14. Serve as a positive role model for other staff members by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and dedication to patient care.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by actively participating in team meetings and sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Arrt Certification In Mri Technology

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pediatric Mri Imaging

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With Pediatric Sedation Techniques

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team
