  1. Operate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure accurate and timely imaging for pediatric patients.
  2. Follow established protocols to obtain high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  3. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate imaging techniques for each patient.
  4. Monitor and maintain inventory of MRI supplies and equipment, including conducting routine quality control tests.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including imaging data and patient information.
  6. Educate and communicate with patients and their families about the MRI procedure, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  7. Adhere to hospital and industry safety standards and protocols at all times.
  8. Troubleshoot technical issues with MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience during their visit.
  11. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines in all interactions and communications.
  13. Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior in the workplace.
  14. Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to safety, infection control, and patient care.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care and satisfaction.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field.

  • Certified Mri Technologist (Mr) Through The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist In A Pediatric Or Hospital Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Mri Safety Protocols And Ability To Monitor And Ensure Compliance.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Troubleshooting Mri Equipment, Including Experience With Pediatric Patients And Sedation Procedures.
