We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director for our Integrated Behavioral Health department. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and shape our integrated behavioral health services, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.   1. Oversee the development and implementation of integrated behavioral health services for pediatric patients at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
  3. Lead and supervise a team of behavioral health professionals, including psychologists, counselors, and therapists.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with behavioral health concerns, ensuring the highest quality of care and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral health services and make adjustments as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in pediatric psychology and behavioral health care.
  7. Provide guidance and support to staff members, including training and professional development opportunities.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and hospital leadership to promote the integration of behavioral health services into overall patient care.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and community organizations to develop partnerships and resources for patients.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and assessments.
  11. Participate in hospital committees and meetings to represent the needs and concerns of the integrated behavioral health department.
  12. Foster a culture of compassion, excellence, and innovation within the integrated behavioral health department.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Board Certification In A Relevant Specialty Such As Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Or Family Medicine.

  • Extensive Clinical Experience In Integrated Behavioral Health, Including The Ability To Diagnose And Treat A Wide Range Of Mental Health Conditions In Children And Adolescents.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Program Development And Management, Including The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And The Ability To Implement And Evaluate Quality Improvement Initiatives In Integrated Behavioral Health.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Patients, Families, And Community Partners To Promote The Mission Of Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia.
