- Provide specialized care to children and families experiencing psychiatric crises.
- Lead and supervise a team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in crisis.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate care and treatment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay abreast of current research and best practices in pediatric psychiatry.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and hospital administration to ensure the highest level of care.
- Provide support and guidance to patients and families during difficult and challenging times.
- Advocate for the mental health needs of children and families within the hospital and in the community.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide input on treatment plans and patient progress.
- Mentor and train junior psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of psychiatry.

Board Certification In Psychiatry
Active And Unrestricted Medical License In The State Of Pennsylvania
Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Psychiatry, Preferably With A Focus On Crisis Intervention And/Or Child And Adolescent Psychiatry
Leadership Experience, Including Management Of Clinical Staff And Oversight Of Psychiatric Programs Or Services
