  1. Oversee and manage all cardiac EKG and Holter services at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  2. Ensure the highest level of quality and safety in the care provided to pediatric patients undergoing cardiac monitoring.
  3. Lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to provide compassionate and expert care to patients.
  4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve and maintain the standards of care for cardiac EKG and Holter services.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and medical staff to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of services.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and implementing necessary training and development programs.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in cardiac monitoring to continually improve the services offered.
  8. Manage budgets and resources to maintain cost-effective operations while meeting quality standards.
  9. Demonstrate strong leadership skills in decision making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  10. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements related to cardiac EKG and Holter services.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other stakeholders to address their concerns and provide education on cardiac monitoring.
  12. Participate in strategic planning and goal setting for the department to support the hospital's mission and vision.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of patient care, staff performance, and departmental data.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  15. Conduct regular audits and quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Cardiac Ekg/Holter Management, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Monitoring Equipment And Procedures, Including Ekg Interpretation And Holter Monitoring.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Supervise A Team Of Technicians And Nurses.

  • Current Certification In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls), With A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Resuscitation Protocols.
