Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated Linen Service Attendant to join our team. As a Linen Service Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for our young patients and their families.   1. Collect and distribute linens throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, waiting areas, and common spaces.
  2. Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of linens to ensure availability for patients and staff.
  3. Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and promptly replace or report any issues to the appropriate department.
  4. Operate and maintain laundry equipment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
  5. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens according to standard procedures.
  6. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure linens are properly used and stored in designated areas.
  7. Handle and process soiled linens in a timely and hygienic manner.
  8. Adhere to infection control standards and protocols, including proper handling and disposal of linens.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized laundry room and work area.
  10. Communicate effectively with hospital staff and patients to address any concerns or special requests regarding linens.
  11. Attend training and development sessions to stay updated on hospital policies and procedures.
  12. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families while carrying out duties.
  13. Comply with all hospital regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Show a strong attention to detail to ensure linens are clean, safe, and properly stocked.
  15. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
