
Life Support Educator

- Plan and develop life support training programs for healthcare staff, considering the specific needs and challenges of working with children.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for healthcare staff, ensuring that they are up to date on the latest life support techniques and protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in training and implementation of life support procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve staff competency and patient outcomes.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on life support techniques, staying informed on industry developments and best practices to continually enhance training programs.
- Develop and maintain educational materials, such as manuals, handouts, and online resources, to supplement training sessions and serve as a reference for staff.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to healthcare staff, answering questions and addressing concerns related to life support procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all healthcare staff are certified and compliant with life support training requirements.
- Participate in committees and task forces related to life support training, offering insights and expertise to further improve patient care.
- Act as an ambassador for Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, promoting its mission and values in all interactions with staff, patients, and families.
Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field.
Certification As A Basic Life Support (Bls) Instructor From The American Heart Association.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Healthcare Education And Training, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric Life Support Protocols And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Teaching Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Train Healthcare Professionals, Caregivers, And Families.
